Now is a great time to stock up on some charcoal. Lowes and Home Depot are both having B1G1 sales $8.48 at Lowes and $10 at Home Depot. Lowes the bags are 16 lbs and at Home Depot they're 20, so it's actually a better deal at Home Depot. I went to Lowes last night and they were not marked on sale in the store, however, I had seen the ad on their website before I went. This was a brand new store so after a few phone calls, they did confirm that they were on sale, but at checkout they did not ring up properly. I had warned the cashier and she adjusted the price without any problem. I have not been to Home Depot yet but plan to go this afternoon. This is a great emergency supply item. You may have your food storage, but if you don't have power, how will you cook it? Charcoal is one of a few great fuel items to have on hand. Plastic buckets (get some cheapies at home depot) are a good way to store your charcoal.
