Found an awesome deal at Vons last night Buy 15 boxes of select Kelloggs cereals (Frosted Flakes, Apple Jacks, Frosted Mini Wheats, Raisin Bran, Corn Pops, and a few more) pay .99 cents for each box. Combine with a second offer which is get 2 FREE bottles of Safeway brand Apple Juice when you purchase 3 boxes of Kelloggs cereal (select varieties which are basically the same as listed above.) So, you can get 15 boxes of cereal and 10 bottles of apple juice for $14.85 BEFRORE coupons. There are coupons on the Kelloggs website and coupons.com plus some in a recent Red Plum (sorry I don't know which one because I don't get the RP). There are tags by all the cereals and apple juice so you shouldn't have any problems. I did hear that this is a regional sale at Von's only may not be available at other Safeway affiliate stores.

Sorry for the lack of posts. I've been reading up but really haven't seen anything really exciting to post about. This however looks like an interesting offer from HotPrints. You can get a free HotBook every month which includes free shipping. Click here. Let me know if you get in on the offer. I'll give it a try after things get back to normal and I'll let you know what I think.
Thanks Money Saving Mom!

The Jello coupon I got from Kraft First Taste super easy to join and they send coupons for new products and just ask that you fill out a short survey after you try the product. I have my 10 crackers now so I'll send in for the $10 rebate. I didn't buy all 10 in one transaction because sometimes Vons (Safeway) is a little picky about how many like coupons you can use, but my cashiers have been awesome lately so, I would definitely give it a try with all 10!

There were Nabisco coupon booklets with the Rebate form at my Vons by the cracker display. You have until the end of January to do this Rebate.
Vons has coupons in their ad for free item each day with a minimum $20 purchase. My Vons has never questioned me about the $20 purchase (I always have $20 before coupons), but I did read something interesting on their website that says when you use super coupons, your $20 is BEFORE club card AND coupon savings. So, that is super simple to reach, my total was $54 before I scanned my card. You may want to print this and keep it with you (same thing on Safeway website) just in case!
Another 15% off coupon for Walgreens today only! Here's the good news, I had read about the John Frieda deal but I read the coupon wrong, BUT it's not too late to get a great deal. No more Holiday RR, but you can use your Holiday RR along witht this 15% off coupon. Here's the deal, buy 2 John Frieda products at $6.99 ea. (15%) off will make it $11.90 total, use the $5/2 coupon here (it will beep, but it just asks for the cashier to input amount, I had no problem using it) and use the $3 coupon from the $200 in savings coupon flyer.
13.98-15% =11.90-5.00-$6 =$ .90 OOP for 2 shampoos or conditioners! This is a super deal, so run over to your Walgreens and grab 2 OR 4!

Don't forget your free hot chocolate at Target. It's on sale for $ .97 pair that with the $1 off Target IP. Another Target remineder can you believe it?? I love my new Target; I've been there twice in two days and I'll be going back as soon as I print more coupons off my other computer!
Here's my trip today.
4 Nexxus Therappe shampoo $5.49 ea
2 Lindsay Olives 2/$4
3 Hunts Sauce $ .99ea
1 Pink Salmon $2
2 Skittles (they were gone before we got home!)
$4 Nexxus coupon (Wags $200 in savings) takes off $4 for each one
$1 Lindsay Olives IP
$1/3 Hunts Sauce IP
$.59 Salmon in ad q
$1.72 Olives in ad q
$ .69 skittles in ad q
$1.67 Hunts in ad q
Got $5 Holiday RR
This was an interesting trip because you had to spend $25 AFTER the 15% but before q's. I also learned something else interesting for future use. The Wags q's deducted at 15% for example the Olives were 2/$4 regular price so when they rang up, the 15% came off and then the Wags q took off at 15% discount too so in other words it wasn't a double dip on the wags q's. All the manu q's came off at full value, but what was really interesting and GREAT was the Nexxus Wags q actually rings up as a manu q so it comes off at full value--YaHOO!
Let me know how you did!!

The friends and family 15% discount coupon is available for fans of Walgreens on facebook. If you don't have a facebook account, set one up it's super easy then go to the Walgreens page and click the "become a fan" icon, then today go to the "fan offers" tab click and you will get a 15% off coupon.
Pair this 15% with two great deals. The first is Nexxus buy one for $5.49 (cheapest in my store, you may find cheaper in yours) 15% off will deduct $ .82 THEN use the coupon found in by the regular ads (it looks like a photo copy) that says "$200 in savings" $4 off Nexxus products and get some shampoo for $ .67. Also there is a coupon on Smartsource for $5 off 2 John Frieda products. In my store the cheapest is $5.99, but you can pair this with the 15% discount AND another $2 in the same "$200 savings" flyer for two shampoos for about $1.18. The $4 and $2 coupons from the "$200 in savings" flyer will take off for each one you buy so buy several and also get your $5 RR for spending $25 (today only!) Hope this makes sense, I'm in a hurry. So, let me know if you have any questions!
Quick Target trip. Not that exciting but wanted to remind you of a couple of good deals this week. Also, went to the new Target, not as close to my house, but worth it. Great cashier didn't even look at my coupons just scanned them, no 1 coupon craziness like the other Target. Hopefully this is a reflection of how the store runs!

(8) Del Monte Vegetables $ .50ea

Boy I really missed the boat on this one!! I actually went shopping at Old Navy today but missed these coupons. I checked the Old Navy Weekly sight before I went but didn't check the Old Navy ad--silly me. Okay, so Old Navy's got some pretty decent deals this week (luckily some nice lady didn't use her $10 of $50 coupon she had and she gave it to me--how did she know that I was the dingy couponer???). Here's a link for a $10 off $50 coupon, but if you click on the ad, there's also a 30% of one item coupon which is also in the Sunday ad. One lady said she printed 3 of them off the internet and they let her use them all she just had to do 3 separate transactions. So, get your self down to Old Navy if you still need some clothes for Christmas. Some of my favorite deals were Men's button down shirts for $15, Men's hoodies for $12 (maybe $10), Men's dress pants for $20 and Men's corduroy pants for $15 and PJ's for $7. Good deals on kids shirts etc. I really didn't look at the Women's cloths or the baby clothes because my girls were at the end of their rope. Happy Shopping!!!
Thanks My Frugal Adventures!

If you got any of the Holiday RR last week, make sure to check the expiration. Some of them expire just a week after you got it, not the normal two weeks. Also, with the Holiday RR, you can only use one per transaction, if you have more than 1.
There will be another ad on Wednesday. If you want a sneaky peaky click here . Don't see anything too exciting for that ad either. If I find any hidden deals, I'll let you know

$2 RR Scunci
$10 RR ReNu
$5 RR Triaminic
$2 RR Stimudent
$5 RR Walgreens Coupon for spending $25.00
A couple of notes. On the Scunci if they're not marked, you may want to price check because they're not all on sale, if they ring up $2 then they're the right ones. Make sure to grab the 8oz. double pack of ReNu because it also comes in other sizes that do not give RR. There are two different types of packaging on the stimudent, you must get the one that says Johnson and Johnson on the front. The spend $25 is before all coupons--yay!!
I do plan to go back and get the Neutrogena for men product and more free Triaminic. I'm not sure if I'm going to do the $25 again. You cannot use the $5 from the $25.00 and get another one.

I actually set-up a facebook account that I use just for couponing just like my couponing/freebie e-mail account. It's easy and it doesn't bog down your regular facebook account.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins
2 cups sugar
1 (16 oz.) can pureed pumpkin
1 1/2 cups oil
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1 package chocolate chips
In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs, sugar, pumpkin, and oil until smooth. Add in dry ingredients and mix well. Fold in chocolate chips. Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups 3/4 full. Bake 16-20 minutes at 400 degrees. Makes 24-30 muffins.
Then I had some bananas that were going bad and I didn't feel like making a loaf of banana bread so I looked for another quick muffin recipe and found one here at Tammy's Recipes. They were delicious. When I saw that it called for mayo I kind of panicked but gave it try anyway and they were great. The only thing I would change next time is that I would add the choc. chips to the batter rather than put them on top.
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 Teaspoon salt
1/2 cup Miracle Whip or mayonnaise
3 ripe bananas (the riper the better!!)
1 cup chocolate chips
1. In large bowl, combine dry flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
2. In medium sized bowl, beat egg. Add banana and mash thoroughly, using a potato masher. Stir in Miracle Whip. Add to dry ingredients and stir just until moistened.
3. Fill paper-lined muffin tins 3/4 full (12); sprinkle tops with chocolate chips. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until muffin tests done with toothpick. Allow muffins to cool 5 minutes in the pan, and then remove to wire racks to finish cooling. Store loosely covered to help prevent stickyness! :)
Stay tuned for more recipes. My sis sent me some goodies that I need to post!
