4GB Coby MP3 player at Amazon + a Sweet Bonus Deal

I love this deal! You can get this cute little Coby 4GB MP3 player for just $21.99 at Amazon. BUT wait it gets better--when you buy this mp3 player you will also get $15 worth of Amazon MP3 downloads. SWEET!

Yes, I did have to pick this up for myself (I think I'm done buying my own Christmas presents now!) because my other cute little cheap MP3 player was missing until one day I was pulling laundry out of the dryer and there it was nice and clean and no longer working! HMMM who might have put that in the dirty laundry?????

Thanks KCL!

Why you need to buy a FoodSaver!

Here's why I want you to grab that FoodSaver for $24.99 from my last post.

See this little beauty?

It's one of my all time favorite kitchen gadgets because it means that I can have chocolate in my food storage--yay!
But here's the problem, Foodsaver no longer manufactures the hand held vacuum sealer. So, the next option, which is a perfectly good option is the actual Big Foodsaver which comes with a little hose and does the exact same thing that my little vacuum sealer does. The problem is the high price (unless you can find one on e-bay or at the DI.)

You will need to purchase this little attachment
which runs about $6 and it comes in small mouth or wide mouth jar sizes.

This allows you to store (in mason jars) all kinds of great things that would normally go bad very quickly. Chocolate for example will last for years when vaccuum sealed. I've stored raisins and crackers and nuts. After you opon the jar, you can just reseal it with the same lid. You can also use it for refrigerated or frozen foods, but make sure you store those items in the refrigerator or freezer and NOT on your shelf and you will extend their life by at least double. This is not canning or pressure canning! You also, have to be super careful with any powdered items because they can really mess up your system, but if you want to vacuum seal sugar or cake mix, just be sure to put it in a plastic bag first and then vacuum seal it in the jar some people even put a coffee filter on top to be safe. I use mine for storing cheese, like parmesan which is soooo expensive but I can't use the big block fast enough. The possibilities are endless, but I LOVE mine!

70% off Foodsaver Kit

This is a great deal for a Foodsaver Kit !You'll want to snag this deal quickly before it's gone. Make sure you follow the directions correctly:

Flu Shots $10 at Smith's

I completely forgot to post this on Saturday so hopefully you can still get this deal. I went to Smiths to get a flu shot because I had seen them advertised for $19, but when I got there the pharmacist told me that they had just lowered the price to $10. I don't know if it's just this store (Durango and Elkhorn for those in my neck of the woods) or if it's all stores. So, if you need a flu shot and have a Smiths or maybe any Kroger affiliate give the pharmacy a call and find out how much their flu shots cost. It only took maybe 10 minutes, and the best time to get your flu shot is November or December because flu season hits hardest from Nov.-February. AND flu shots are usually only effective for about 4 months---well that's what I heard anyway--don't quote me because I read it online, but I'm covered!

Latest Walgreens Update

Okay, so it appears that after the mess that Walgreens created on Saturday has finally been resolved. They have their computers now programmed properly so that Super Jingle Cash prints if you hit $25, $50, $75 or $100 AFTER Walgreens coupons and discounts but BEFORE Manufacturer coupons. Also, if you want to use your SJC from last week to get more SJC this week, you need to know that the SJC is a Walgreens coupon while your regular Jingle Cash (RR) are Manufacturer coupons. So if I buy $25 worth of stuff after in ad coupons and want to use $5 SJC, I will need to add $5 more stuff to get another $5 SJC, however if I have $25 worth of stuff and I just want to use regular JC(RR) I will still get the $5 SJC. Seems a little confusing but if you just remember that SJC is Walgreens coupon and JC is Manu. coupon you'll be fine. Also, it appears that the nail polish is a monthly deal, so you can get more nail polish--yay!

One deal that I plan to do is the Hallmark Money Card Deal. Here's the deal

Buy 6 Hallmark Money Cards $.99 ea.
use in ad IVC 3/$2
OOP $4
get $5 RR

Some people were reporting that the ivc was not programmed into the computer but had stores had no problem adjusting for the coupons. Hopefully by tomorrow the computers will be programmed properly.

Walgreens week of 12/5

***Second UPDATE it sounds like the Hallmark tissue paper is no longer working AND it appears that the Super Jingle Cash may be printing if you spend $25 AFTER coupons. These are all as of today--Saturday!
**UPDATE the Hallmark Tissue worked for me I bought six for $2 and got the $5 RR. I found it on the Christmas aisle right next to the wrapping paper also see the edit below on the candy transaction.
I've done several transactions at Walgreen's this week, but rather than give you all the crazy details, I thought I'd just give you what I think are the best deals. Also for every $25 you spend you get a $5 coupon that can be used next week. The super good news is that the $25 is calculated BEFORE coupons (Walgreens and Manufacturer)! So, as long as your total is $25 before you turn over any coupons you'll get $5. Okay, so my favorite deals are

Buy 6 Hallmark cards get $5 RR this works on ALL cards even the .99 cent AND the .49cent cards(NOT the little gift cards by the wrap). I did hear that at the beginning of the week there was a glitch with the money holder cards, so I haven't tried those. NEWS today is that you will also get the $5 RR for purchasing the Hallmark 20ct white tissue paper (found with the Christmas wrap) there is an in ad coupon on pg. 15 that makes these 3/$1--I'm going to try this out later today, but make sure you buy exactly the type listed on the coupon for the 3/$1 price.

Reach Total Care Floss $3.99 (Also works with TB)
$2 off Reach Total Care Whitening Floss 10/10/10 RP
$2 off Reach Total Care TB or Floss
$ .01 Moneymaker
make sure you buy the exactly what is on the MQ because it matches the in ad coupon. This is a great one to help get your total up to $25.

Glide Pro Health Floss $3.49
$.75 Off Glide Floss (Picture of floss picks on coupon) 11/28 P&G (There's also a Crest Toothpaste coupon in this insert if you prefer to buy the toothpaste)
OOP $2.74
get $2.50 RR
I like this deal because this is the only type of floss Scott can use and this is a super deal!

Revlon Top Speed Nail Color $5.99
$1 Revlon Cosmetics Everything Bright and Beautiful Walgreens coupon booklet found on cosmetics counter.
OOP $4.99
get $5 RR

Hershey's Candy 2/$5 (I bought 3)
B2G1 Free Hershey's Kisses, Reeses Miniatures, York, Kit Kat, or Rolo bags
$1/2 Hershey's Kisses IP (coupons.com)
**Also use the $1/2 Reeses, Hershey's, or Cadbury from the Dec. Walgreens Coupon book
OOP $3 for 3 bags
I did this at the beginning of the week when I had lots of RR that I needed to use, again $7.50 toward your $25

Crayola Pop Art Pixels $5.99
$4 Crayola Pop Art Pixels IP (facebook)
OOP $1.99

Precision Scissors $8.99 (prices vary!)
In ad Coupon makes them $2.99
These are nice scissors and are a GREAT item to get you to $25 because the original price goes toward your $25!
I just saw these at Walmart for $4.99

$5 off Hallmark Coupon

I had a couple of these $5 off Hallmark coupons last year that I found it some of the magazines I receive, but this year they also have a printable. If you receive any magazines, I did find one in my December issue of Redbook. This is an awesome coupon because it's $5 off with no minimum purchase. Last year they had some cheap rolls of wrapping paper that I purchased and remember you can use them on anything, it doesn't have to be used on Christmas merchandise.

Thanks KCL!
