Attention UT and ID Albertsons Shoppers

For those of you in Utah and Idaho, I've read rumors that you may be getting twice the value coupons in your Sunday paper this weekend. What this means is that you can use any coupon up to $1 and pair it with a twice the value coupon so that coupon essentially doubles. Generally they only let you use 2 or 3 per transaction. Some stores are strict about this and some are much more lenient So, if you don't need stuff for the 4th you may want to hold off shopping at Albs until next week. I'll let you know if I get more info.

Walgreens frist day of the 4 Day Ad

Today is the first day of the Walgreens 4 day Holiday ad. For those of you who are new to Walgreens, they usually do a 4 day ad on holiday weekends. This means that all of the deals from the weekly ad are valid all week PLUS the deals from the 4 day ad are good Wednesday-Saturday! Check out all the sales and match-ups here (wildforwags.com). I'm going to grab a few things, and I'll let you know what I pick-up, but you may want to run out today because some of the coupons that match-up with the sale and RR expire today. I'm going to use my Sure deodorant coupons today, if I can find some in stock.

Smith's $1 Coupon Event

Starting today through next Tuesday all coupons which are under $1 will be rounded up to a $1. I know it doesn't seem like much, but it can turn into some great freebies. So dig out all of those low value coupons and head to Smiths. Utah Deal Diva has put together a great list, but definitely bring your coupon binder with you and look for more good deals. I agree with her about checking the list at PYP, they do a really good job. Unfortunately I won't be able to hit the sale until Tuesday night, but I'll keep you posted if I see any other good deals in the blogosphere.

Walgreens 6/15/10

Sorry for the lack of posts. Here are a few deals for Wags this week.


The Neutrogena deal (buy 3 get $10 RR) is going on all month, but this week most of the products are on sale. Remeber buy 3 soaps $2.69 (on sale this week for $2.01) get a $10 RR. If you have the $1.50 Safeway coupons you're in awesome shape, if not I believe there wer $1 coupons in the SS yesterday. Also, there is a hidden deal, if you buy the Neutrogena lip balm (looks like chapstick in a display probably on the top shelf) you will also get the RR. It is the same regular price as the soap and may or may not be on sale, do a price check. Now, if your really, really lucky you might find the travel size cleanser(it's orange) for $ .99, buy 3 and get the $10 RR (it looks like the travel size cleansers are no longer working for the deal)

Also, the gillette razors that are on sale with RR also come in a couple of different gift packs with shaving cream etc. If you find these, they are on sale for the same price as the razors and you will get the RR.



If you like beef jerky, the Jack Links is on sale for $2.99 and there are $1 off peelies on some of the packages.

Here's a great coupon for $1 off Cheez-it. About 6 months ago these were on sale and I had coupons so I essentially got 25 boxes for free. We just finished the last box and if I buy one more box of Cheez-its in place of gold fish, my children may never speak to me again!
