Smith's and Target trips

If you printed the $5/5 Kellogg's coupons that were available earlier in the week, you may want to use them at Smith's. Smiths is having a 50% off cereal sale. I didn't get a chance to write down the prices of all the Kellogg's cereals which are part of the sale, but here are the prices I know:

Frosted Flakes, Apple Jacks, Froot Loops $1.92
Frosted Mini Wheats Little Bites Chocolate $1.86

Believe me I know these cereals are not healthy, but I let my kids eat them on the weekends! I know the regular Frosted Mini Wheats, Raisin Bran, and Touch of Fruit Mini Wheats are also included in the sale I just didn't have time to check the prices.

Look for boxes with $5 in coupons or Cars 2 codes which you can enter at the website listed on the box and get a $5 gift card for every 4 codes you enter.

I'm going back so I'll write down more prices when I don't have so much help!!


I also stopped at Target and picked up a couple of boxes of Finish Powerballs dishwasher detergent (I really need more of this after the sale a few weeks ago at CVS, we do LOTS of dishes!) they were on clearance for $1.98/box (20 pack) use the $ .75/1 any Finish Product from the 1/22 Smart Source. One store had the individual boxes and another had the 3 packs of  32/pack for $5.98, but you would only be able to use 1 coupon on the multi-pack the multi pack is a slightly better deal by a few cents, but when I saw those I didn't have my coupons and that store was not close to home. Anyway, pretty good deal if you need these.

Target Valentine Candy 50% off

Valentine Candy is 50% off at 2 of the Targets I checked today. 1 store was marked 50% off, the other was still marked 30%, but scanned at 50% off. I used the $1.50/2 Mars Season Coupons previously available with the Walmart logo. The coupon scanned fine, but the cashier gave me all kinds of trouble I won't get into it but she was not the sharpest knife in the drawer. 2nd store took the last coupon I had a didn't even bat an eyelash! I'll just stick to my regular stores!

Target Toy Coupon Book

You may receive the above pictured Target toy book in the mail or they may have them at the customer service desk in your store. They are loaded with lots of Target toy coupons. The good news is that if you can't find the book, you can print all of the coupons at Target.com.

Target and Smith's 10/4

Okay, I did a quick Smith's and Target run today. I'm really hoping for some great stock up sales in the coming weeks with Holiday cooking and baking right around the corner.

Apple Juice is on sale for $1.75 so here's what I did:

You don't even need coupons for this one. I think I'll take my $5 gift card and do this deal one more time. $.75/bottle is a good price for apple juice. Also, if you printed the $2 off Merona hosiery coupon from Target.com yesterday, they have some Merona socks on clearance for $2 and under. If you didn't print it, sorry it's gone!



Smith's

Buy 3 Barilla Piccolini Pasta $1/1 (through Tuesday 10/5) get a catalina coupon for $2 off 3 Barilla Piccolini Pasta.

Here's what I did:

This coupon prints as soon as you scan the pasta, so if you're at self check, you can grab the coupon and use it on that transaction.

Target School and Summer Clearance

Target has school supplies and summer "stuff" including pots, weed killer, and insect repellent, 50-75% off. Every store does clearance mark-downs at different times, but that's the story at my two closest Target stores.

New Target Coupons

There are some new Target coupons that you may want to snag.

these are just a few of the coupons I printed. The great thing about these coupons is that they don't exclude clearance mer chandise. So, definitely head to the clearance section. Most Target coupons say 1 per transaction. Some Targets are very strict and some are not, so you just have to test the waters. I have 2 GREAT Targets and 1 awful Target. Of course the one to my house is terrible, and honestly, I don't even shop there. The extra 5 minutes in the car is worth it to me to not deal with the hassles even in 110 degree heat!!!

Target trip 5/19

I wanted to show you what I found on my quick trip to Target. I already told you about all of these deals, I just wanted to confirm that I did find all of these items for the prices I listed. I think every coupon I used beeped "item not found", but my awesome cashier just pushed them all through. The flip flops were marked $4.99 on clearance, but I price checked them and they were only $2.48, so free plus overage (that's why that one beeped!)

I checked on the Cottonelle TP and of course, they do not sell the 4pk at my store---ahh now we see why they put out such a high value coupon! They may have them at other Target stores, the one I shopped today is a smaller store. Let me know if you find the 4pks at your Target.

Great footwear coupon at Target.com

Hurry over to the Target Website, click on "coupons" at the bottom of the page, and then click on clothing and you'll see a coupon for $3 off Merona footwear. When I was at Target a few days ago they had some Merona flip flops on sale for around $4. Even at full price $3 off flip flops could make for some cheap shoes for summer. I'll let you know what I find tomorrow. I would definitely print this now because it may not last long!

Razor/TP deals this week

A couple of quick notes about this weeks deals. If you got the Schick Hydro Razor coupons you can get them at Walgreens for $7.99-$5 coupon = OOP $2.99 get a $5 RR, but the better deal is at Target where you buy 2 of the 3 blade for $6.99 ea -(2) $5 coupons -(2) $1 Target coupons here = OOP $1.98 get a $5 Target gift card. So, the deal is actually better at Target.

Also at Walgreens if you need to burn RR, I always try to buy thing I need that are on sale or that I have coupons for. This week the Cottonelle 12 Rolls are $4.99 use the $1 coupon in the April All You magazine or $.50 coupon here and the $1 IVC coupon from the Walgreens May coupon book = $2.99-$3.49. Target trip

Here are my Target deals. I shared the game deal here. The Ore-Ida hash browns are on sale for $2.50 plus buy 2 get 1 free. The Campbells Cream of Mushroom and Cream of Chicken are on sale for $ .75ea. and the solar lights are $3.00 not on sale. So here's the deal

3 Ore Ida hash browns $2.50 ea + 1 free

Total $3 for 3 bags of hash browns

Use $2 Solar light coupon from Target.com (my store let me use more than one, they probably would have let me use 4 but I needed to go to another store for more hash browns because I bought the last 3 bags at the first store. Some stores may only let you use 1 target coupon per transaction)
Total $4 for 4 solar lights (some guy stopped me in the store and told me that he had these in his yard and he LOVED them!)

Cheap Games at Target week of 3/21

Monopoly for $2 and Connect Four for $3 this week at Target. Here's the deal, Monopoly and Connect Four are on sale at Target this week for $7 ea., go here (coupons.com) and print the $5 off Monopoly and/or the $4 off Connect Four (also available in today's Sunday Paper). These would be great to put in your birthday gift stash or save for Christmas. Great donation gifts too!

Cheap Dial Soap at Target

Here's the deal: Click here (Target.com) page down until you see "new at Target" a moving ad, when you see Dial, click on it. It will take you to a coupon that looks slightly different than the newer Target coupons. Print this coupon and pair it with the RP coupon for $ .35/1 from 3/7 (even without this coupon it's a good deal). IF you can find these at your Target they should be priced around $1.37 so after coupons $ .37 -$ .02! Good Luck, I'll let you know if I find these at my Target.

Most of what I bought was not marked on sale--I LOVE those little price scanners. I wish they had them in every store! Be careful on the lightbulbs because there is a similar package that is NOT on sale of course, they were all mixed up. The toothbrushes were not in the right place, the Dentyne was not marked, and the flavors of the fruit chillers I bought were also not marked, but all were on sale. So, PRICE CHECK!!!
